Phantom Of The Opera Decorating Ideas
Hello! The Tony Awards for the best of Broadway are coming up and we thought it would be fun to share a Broadway Tablescape Blog Hop. A huge thank you to Chloe from Celebrate and Decorate for organizing this blog hop. The party started Monday and all the links are below. If you are visiting from Bluesky Kitchen welcome!
My daughter and I share a love of Broadway shows. It is something that I introduced her to at a very young age. Our first Broadway show was The Lion King. I think she was about 6 years old and I can still see the look of amazement on her face as the performers walked in the aisle right beside her. It was truly a great day and we made sure to attend a Broadway show every year! This inspired her so much that she is now a Theatre Major in her Senior year of College and currently working as an intern at a local theatre company. Of course, I have to share a photo of Amanda on stage at one of her College plays. It was a proud Mom moment for sure!
You can see why I was thrilled to participate in this Broadway Tablescape hop! The Phantom of the Opera is my all time favorite Broadway show. I was blessed to have seen it in London at the famed Adelphi Theatre in 2010. It was a dream come true to not only see the show but to see it in London. I thank my sister who was attending business there at the time.
Here is my tablescape inspired by Phantom of the Opera:
I started with a white tablecloth and added a faux fur runner. When I think of Phantom of the Opera I think of black and white with pops of red, but I also think of something glamorous. The fur backdrop with the silver candle holders definitely adds the glamorous touch I was going for.
Of course, the red roses were a must and to keep costs down I used roses from The Dollar Store.
I added them to each place setting, which consisted of silver chargers and black plates-also from The Dollar Store. You don't have to spend a lot to set a pretty table!
I actually just found the masks at the thrift store last week for $3! My daughter plans to hang them in her bedroom.
I took a picture at night and thought it would make a romantic setting for Valentine's Day or an Anniversary. I hope you enjoyed my Phantom of the Opera inspired Tablescape.
